These terms apply when you buy from Kapoor Books through this website.

Who we are

We are an online retailer of books, stationery and reading accessories, operating from Shop 9, Building No. 3, Siddhachal Phase 8, Thane, Maharashtra 400610, India. We are an online-only business and do not run a customer-facing showroom.

Orders

Placing an order is an offer to buy. We confirm the order by email when payment is received, or when a cash-on-delivery order is accepted. If an item turns out to be unavailable after that, we will tell you and refund in full – see the Cancellation Policy.

Prices and payment

Prices are in Indian rupees. Applicable delivery charges are shown before checkout is completed. We accept UPI and cash on delivery only; card payments are not available. Prices and stock can change without notice, but never after an order is confirmed.

GST

This shop is not registered for GST. It operates below the applicable GST registration threshold, so GST registration does not apply to it at this time. No GST is charged separately on your order and no GST tax invoice bearing a GSTIN can be issued. The parcel includes an order invoice, which is not a GST tax invoice.

Product descriptions

We describe items as accurately as we can, using the specifications supplied to us – page counts, dimensions, tip sizes, pack quantities. Screen colours vary between devices. Where a set is described as assorted, the mix is as supplied and specific designs cannot be reserved.

Warranty

We do not add a warranty of our own. Where a warranty is stated on a product page, it applies on its own terms. Our responsibility for an item that arrives damaged, wrong or incomplete is set out in the Return and Refund Policy.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits any consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable Indian law. Where permitted by law, our liability for a product-related claim is limited to the amount paid for the affected product.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to mandatory consumer rights and applicable jurisdiction rules, courts in Thane, Maharashtra will have jurisdiction.
