An order with Kapoor Books can be cancelled at no cost any time before it is dispatched.

Before dispatch

Email [email protected] or call +91 93238 06004 with your Order ID. Because we dispatch within 1–2 business days, the practical window is short – the sooner you write, the more likely we can stop the parcel.

After dispatch

Once the courier has collected the parcel we cannot recall it. At that point the order falls under the Return and Refund Policy instead: refuse the delivery or contact us within 10 days of receiving it.

Refund on a cancelled order

For a prepaid order cancelled before dispatch, the refund is processed within 5–7 business days to the original payment method. Cash on delivery orders have nothing to refund – there is no charge for cancelling one.

Cancellations by us

Occasionally we have to cancel an order ourselves – a stock count is wrong, a pack is damaged in storage, or a delivery address falls outside our courier network. When that happens we tell you why and refund in full within 5–7 business days. We do not cancel an order and stay silent about it.

Partial cancellation

If an order has several items and only one is unavailable, we will normally ask whether you want the rest sent or the whole order cancelled. If we cannot reach you before the dispatch deadline, we send what is available and refund the balance.
