The short version

  • Based in: Thane, Maharashtra, India.
  • Trading as: Kapoor Books, an online retailer.
  • Catalogue: notebooks, journals, planners, pens and reading accessories.
  • Delivery: across India, 3–6 business days to metro cities and 5–10 business days to other locations.

What this shop is

Kapoor Books sells paper and writing supplies online. The catalogue is small and deliberately so: a working set of notebooks in the sizes people actually use, planners that cover a school year, pens by the pack rather than the piece, and the bookmarks and tabs that go with them.

We are an online-only retailer. Orders are packed at our business and order fulfilment address in Thane, Maharashtra and handed to a courier – there is no shop counter to visit and no showroom.

How a product gets listed

  1. We find stock we can supply consistently, at a price that makes sense in rupees.
  2. We photograph or use the supplied images, then write the listing ourselves from the actual specification – page count, dimensions, tip size, pack quantity.
  3. We state what the pack does not include, because that is what generates most return requests.
  4. It goes live with a price, a stock status and a delivery estimate that match the rest of this site.

What we are

  • A small online stationery retailer serving customers across India.
  • Responsible for packing your order correctly and answering your email.
  • Honest about what a pack contains, including when the answer is unglamorous.

What we are not

  • Not a manufacturer, and not the brand owner of the goods we sell.
  • Not a registered GST dealer – we operate below the applicable registration threshold and cannot issue a GST tax invoice.
  • Not a wholesaler or distributor, and not a physical bookshop you can walk into.
  • Not a company with a warehouse team – order packing and customer enquiries are handled directly.
