Kapoor Books is an online-only retailer. Every order is packed and dispatched from our business and order fulfilment address at Shop 9, Building No. 3, Siddhachal Phase 8, Thane, Maharashtra 400610, India. We do not operate a customer-facing showroom, so orders cannot be collected in person.
Where we ship
We deliver across India through national courier partners. We do not ship outside India at present.
Dispatch and delivery time
- Handling: 1–2 business days to check, pack and hand the parcel to the courier.
- Transit: 2–4 business days to metro cities and 4–8 business days to other locations.
- Total, in practice: 3–6 business days to metro cities and 5–10 business days to other locations.
Orders placed after 2:00 PM IST on business days, or on a Sunday, are picked up the next working day. These figures are estimates based on how our couriers usually perform, not guarantees. Festival weeks, weather and local restrictions all lengthen them.
What delivery costs
Orders of ₹699 and above are delivered free. Below that, a flat ₹49 applies to the whole order regardless of how many items it contains. The product price shown on a product page is the price of the product; any applicable delivery charge is shown before checkout is completed.
Tracking
When the courier collects the parcel we email the tracking number to the order email. Tracking usually starts showing scans within a day of pickup. If it has not moved for three working days, write to [email protected] with your Order ID and we will chase the courier.
Bulk orders
Large notebook cartons and bulk pen boxes ship as heavy parcels. Please make sure somebody can receive them, as couriers will not leave a carton of this size unattended.
Address accuracy
We ship to the address entered at checkout. If an address is incomplete and the courier returns the parcel, we will contact you to arrange a re-dispatch; the re-delivery charge is payable by the customer. Please check the PIN code and phone number before placing the order.
